Yeah, this is my 2nd blog and I do make bracelets for the LGBTQ community…a sistah got a sale going on ya’ll…I’m more than just a poet LMAO!

A lot of you don’t know, I’m one of the founders of a group on FB called Loc’d Superfriends, and YES, you must have locs to join the group. But one of our admins of LSF (Loc’d Superfriends) by the name of Pitre created a very touching video of all of the members wearing their hoodies, in honor of Treyvon Martin. I felt that everybody should see this, especially the loc’d community. Lets just say that when we as LSF go in on something this deep & passionate, WE GO IN!

can also show love for one another…
are you curious of how that works…
or are you curious about how someone different from you
would react to your hurtful, hateful ignorance…due to your fear of the unknown?

You mind can’t seemed to process the fact
that what someone does behind closed doors…
is their business and not yours,
and that you can’t seemed to understand why two men and two women have the ability
to step outside of the “typical opposite sex couple”
and be BRAVE & FEARLESS of their PRIDE.

Instead, your mind goes straight…
to how same sex couples make love,
how we show our love for each other physically,
and how our fucking is different from typical straight fucking…
and you think us queers are perverted?!

because your mind is scared of the unknown…
an unknown that is in your face daily,
LGBTQ in everyday life, online and on TV…and even through your own family,
from the unfortunate LGBTQ young suicides to the fun & exciting Gay Pride Parades,
our dyke, fag, mixed-up, tranny, QUEER asses are EVERYWHERE…
we are capable to love, to feel, to give, to have a big heart like everybody else,
and underneath the hurt, the pain, the torture and the bashing that we go through daily…
we still continue to fight for our rights in this modern-day society.
We just want love, respect & positivity from others, we don’t ask for much
…and you still can’t even open up your mind to see that the unknown is beyond sex, love making and fucking!

Good morning my Tumblr buddies!
I got a full day ya’ll!
I still have bracelets to make, and after I’m done I’m going to meet up with a very special poet by the name of Epiphany Castro (PLEASE BUY HER POETRY CD CALLED “Soulflower”, just click here). So yeah, I’m really living a socially, poetic lifestyle (with queer highlights included *wink*) & I am so loving it…and the thing is, I’m an introvert…so for me to get out a lot more this year than I did last year…that says a lot!
For instance, three days ago I was invited by a good friend of mine Conocida, also a poet, to the Berkeley Slam & YES, I spit my shyt at the slam alright…it wasn’t my “No on 8” piece, it was a piece called “Chemistry” (the only poem I knew by heart, but end up forgetting it 3 times, but was able to pick up where I left off…how did I do it, IDK!)…too bad I didn’t make it to the 2nd round, but it’s all good…better luck next time ;) .
Ok, random moment: is it me or am I seeing Tumblr’s favorite food?

But I love how you (everybody on Tumblr) makes me smile everyday, and I’m so hooked, I’m on this more than Facebook, ain’t that something?! But I agree with blackanalogy, lets learn about each other, exchange knowledge & treat this experience like it’s a community…fuck it, IT IS A COMMUNITY, whether you’re gay or straight, lets have fun.
